Labour Charges
Deltool works on a daily labour rate for all solar installations. A standard system — typically a single PV string, one or two inverters, and two to three batteries — usually takes three days to complete, depending on site difficulty and layout.
Stackable systems such as SigStor and Sungrow often reduce installation time by about one day, as fewer components need to be mounted and wired.
All installations are completed according to SANS standards and the manufacturer’s requirements, and include:
Certificate of Compliance (COC)
Full commissioning
Warranty registration
Mobile app setup
Customer training
An SSEG application can be added as an optional extra.
If the distribution board requires a rebuild, allow for at least one additional day of labour.
